  4. ║  To print detailed instructions, type: COPY README.1ST PRN              ║

  6. ║  To install 4DOS automatically on your system, place this disk in any   ║
  7. ║  drive it fits in, and enter the command: X:INSTALL X Y                 ║
  8. ║                                                                         ║
  9. ║  Where "X" is the drive that the 4DOS disk is in, and "Y" is the drive  ║
  10. ║  where you want to install 4DOS.  (If these parameters are omitted,     ║
  11. ║  INSTALL will use A: and C:) For example, to install 4DOS on drive      ║
  12. ║  D from a diskette in drive B, enter the command: B:INSTALL B D         ║
  13. ║                                                                         ║
  14. ║  The automatic installation batch file will allow you to print the      ║
  15. ║  manual and other documentation files if you wish.                      ║
  16. ║                                                                         ║
  17. ║  PLEASE NOTE:  If you are upgrading from an earlier version of 4DOS,    ║
  18. ║  do NOT install the 4DOS version 3.03 files in the directory in which   ║
  19. ║  your old 4DOS files are stored.  Install them in a different           ║
  20. ║  directory, and read the upgrade instructions in README.DOC before      ║
  21. ║  rebooting your system under 4DOS 3.03.                                 ║
